Agile Web Solutions is dedicated to making Mac OS X even better by creating innovative applications like 1Password, the premier Password Manager for Mac and iPhone, and AllBookmarks, a bookmark manager that collects all browser bookmarks in one place.

A company is nothing more than the people who make it run. Here are the people that make Agile Web Solutions what it is today:

Roustem Karimov    CEO and Co-Founder

After earning his Master's degree in Computer Science, Roustem spent over a decade writing code for Fortune 500 multi-national companies such as Sony and IBM, government agencies, and non-profits before founding Agile Web Solutions in 2006. Roustem is the lead developer of 1Password, AllBookmarks, and the 1Password Touch application.

Roustem also enjoys playing with his vast collection of technical gadgets and spending time with his wife Natalia and their two sons Alex and Mikey.

Dave Teare    Co-Founder

Dave met Roustem while doing enterprise Java coding for a large corporation and they became best friends in short order. In addition to coding, Dave wears many other hats at Agile Web Solutions. He wrote the very first user guide, developed and coded the original web site, and created the back office and Agile Web Solutions store. Currently Dave switches between coding, documentation, testing, designing, and interacting with customers yet somehow manages to make it look easy.

Dave enjoys spending his time with his wife Sara, daughter Abby, and their latest arrival Jack. He is a huge fan of blueberry pies, airline travel, and taking long walks to see Leo Laporte podcasts.

Dan V Peterson    Lead Designer

After establishing himself in the corporate printing world, Dan left it behind to pursue his passion for design. Dan is responsible for the re-design and current implementation of the Agile Web Solutions web page, the 1Password Touch application, and virtually every graphic related to 1Password and AWS communication and media. Dan is the guy that takes everyone's rudimentary sketches and ideas and "makes it look pretty."

Dan enjoys Brain Toniq, Red Bull, and other energy drinks. He continues to travel the globe in search of the perfect root beer.

Chad Seldomridge    1Password Developer

A former Java consultant, Chad joined the team in 2007 to become the 3rd code warrior at Agile Web Solutions. Known internally as the master of XUL, Chad has taken the reigns on all things Firefox related in addition to working on the main 1Password application.

Chad has been voted "Most likely to create a stockpile of beans" by virtually every group he has been associated with. His dream is to build a cabin in the mountains of Colorado and live the grand life of a hermit (as long as there is internet access there).

Gita Lal    Documentation and Customer Interaction

Gita began her life of professional geekery in system administration and web site production at the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. After her eyes started bleeding from over-exposure to archaic HTML, she moved on for a bit to Movable Type consultancy. Throughout the professional and residential changes over the past several years, one thing remained constant: she kept showing up on various forums, asking and answering geektacular questions. Upon switching from Windows XP on a home-built PC to OS X on a shiny new Mac Pro in late 2006, she embraced 1Password and the Mac community. Today, she continues to answer your questions on our forums, via email, and on Twitter.

Gita is registered on over 28,000 Apple and technology related web forums and holds a world record as a result of this achievement. However, she only regularly participates on about 27,000 of them.

Ben Woodruff    Customer Interaction

A passionate 1Password user, Ben was our first choice when Agile Web Solutions was looking to add another person to the team. Ben converses with customers and assists them while providing feedback to the development team.

Ben secretly thinks he is the "real" Captain Morgan and that his ship and crew is still waiting off shore for him while he dabbles in his technological pursuits.

Jamie Phelps    Code Wrangler and Customer Interaction

Jamie got into computer science after he realized he'd never make any money as a Ph.D. in New Testament studies. Jamie hit the ground running when he joined the Agile Web Solutions team and divides his time between Ruby on Rails work, Cocoa, and customer interaction.

Jamie won several gold medals in swimming at the last Olympics. Uh, actually that was Michael Phelps so scratch that (no relation).

David Chartier    Chief Media Producer

David found 1Password in 2006 as a blogger at TUAW, and continued his coverage while at Ars Technica. Armed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Multimedia Design from the University of Colorado, David wears a number of hats, including documentation, blogging, creating screencasts, and direct customer interaction.

While on a computer, you can find David staying on top of the latest tech news, tinkering with new software or web services, and saving the planet from the latest first-person-shooter-related threat. Away from the keyboard David loves biking, rollerblading, walking with his wife and dogs, and being on the slopes of Breckenridge.

Marty Skinner    Computer Whisperer and Customer Interaction

Marty started his career at Digital Equipment Corporation where he worked with the best OS available at the time, VMS. Proud owner of a microfiche containing the VMS kernel (one of the few that was ever sent outside the VMS development group), Marty lived and breathed VMS for 14 years before moving on to the telecom industry. Marty picked up his first Mac (an SE) back in the late 1980s and became hooked on personal computers. His love of all things Macintosh led him to Agile Web Solutions in July of 2009.

Outside of Mac, Marty has two other loves: his wife and NASCAR. Neither his wife nor Agile have ever asked which he loves more, as they are both afraid he'll choose the cars. This fear is likely a reality and we expect Marty will soon start his own non-profit foundation for the historical preservation of all things NASCAR.
